Site-specific, immersive audio adaptation of Gabriel Garcia Marquez's short story "I Only Came to Use the Phone", about a woman who gets mistaken for an asylum inmate. Performed in Deptford Old Police Station, 2013.

Directed & Designed by Claire Stone Performed by Emma Lawson Voices by Martin Bishop, Dana Etgar, Justina Kaminskaite, Alexei Vergara With special thanks to: Woman-With-A-Van, Catherine Connell Dramaturg, Dana Etgar and support from Central School of Speech & Drama's MA in Advanced Theatre Practice course. *Live Video Delay: imagine watching live video footage of yourself, but which is constantly a second or two behind the present. The effect is that the audience see a delayed reflection of themselves. Some see this as an opportunity for play; some find their doppelgänger disturbing. Its primary function is to create a dissociated image of yourself, and the uncanny feeling of watching yourself at a distance.
